My dearest little Brooklyn how I love you so much! I hope you can try to slow down the race to be big. Enjoy the creativity of your imagination, and soak in all the joys of being a little girl! You are my baby girl and I want to cherish all the littleness that you are. 4 years old I feel is the year you say goodbye to so much of being my baby, but in my heart you'll be my baby girl forever!

My photographer buddy and sister in law Kelsey Claire Photography comes along with me on these shoots to be sure to snap a few of me and them alone, and remember the special time doing these mommy shoots.

As we started to play together, I got to see the joy in her eyes to have me to herself, and see her feel of my love. Since the addition of little brother, it has been a very difficult adjustment for this little middle child, and she has struggled to find her place and find reassurance that although things have changed.... My love for her will never change.

As I held her close, my heart ached , questioning if I am giving you enough.... do you feel or see the love I have for you, do you know that you are not invisible to me, although you often feel you are?

I pray for her strength to get through this adjustment and trust that my love as her constant, she will prevail, and she will overcome the weight of trying to find her place once again. You are my little Brooklyn, you are my silly comedian, you are the one that stretches my capacity making me stronger, you are the only one that gives me those spontaneous extra tight hugs that choke me, and you my sweet are the perfect center of my home. I think after shooting these twins today makes me want to put in an order for a set of twins of my own! There's a special connection, bond, and joy in life that twins share that the rest of us are missing out on, I'm certain of it! I don't get to see it very often, but the few times that I have, and the bits and pieces that their mom shares with me.......absolutely melt my heart! When did he grow up to be a MAN with a great career and a beautiful wife!?!?! Sniff sniff! This shoot was extra special and dear to me because I don't get to spend much time with some of the people I love the most, being that they live 10 hours away. Adam is a very charismatic, fun-loving, and HILARIOUS brother! I am always laughing when he's around. He and his wife Whitney ( coming up on 2 years- whoo hoo) are so fun to be with. I love just hang'n out with them, playing and chatting til wee hours of the night. I wish so much that I got to have more regular hang out time with them. So glad that I got to sneak away from the rest of my family and my kids to have some one-on one adult time together capturing their cute family before a REAL baby is in the picture. Although they'd never deny that Baxter was their baby.... I look forward to seeing their little family grow over the years, and get to have them a part of my life! Love you!!! XXOO

So happy I know this litte family and get to enjoy spending time with them and loving on two of the prettiest little blue-eyed beauties on the planet! My niece and nephew Kamryn and Ryker. I have known Jason now for about 14 years, and got to watch him grow from the "favorite" in the family and football stardom in high school, to one of the best fathers, providers, and family guys I've ever known! Also still everyone's favorite! Love him to pieces. Kelsey is genuine as they come. She loves and cares deeper than any woman I know, and is constantly teaching me how to be a better me. I am SO in love with my hubby and my five little kiddies. I sometimes forget they are so little, until I see them in pictures.... then quickly realize these little treasures are MINE and are oh so small. Some may think that becoming a mom for the 4th time that the excitement or enjoyment of another little person to care for loses its lustre. But I can assure you that for me with this little pal it doesn't in any way shape or form. Each little child that I have been blessed to call my own, are just as unique, special, and treasured as the first or the last. Chase is a very pleasant, cooperative, and cheerful companion, who follows me all throughout my day bringing me humor that no other child has brought to my life. He is quirky, goofy, rough and tumble, and I love him with all my heart! Happy 2nd Birthday today my big boy Chase!

This little angel was a very fun session, because I had done her mommy's maternity just 4 weeks prior. She was so sweet and cooperative we got lots and lots of variety. I lost both sessions in a hard-drive crash in March, can I just say DEVISTATION!!! Luckily it all worked out and these are some of my favorites that we were able to recover. Yay!
